Privacy Policy

In short: LED Sign runs completely locally. We do not collect, upload, or share any text you enter, your preference settings, device identifiers, or usage behavior. Except for the purchase process handled by Apple, the App is completely isolated from the web.

1. What We Collect

Nothing. The App has no account system, requires no login, does not request networking permissions, and does not integrate any third-party analysis or advertising SDKs. All the following data is saved only on your own device and will never be sent to our servers:

The display text/subtext you enter (used only for screen display; can be recycled by the system after the App is closed);
Your saved presets (name, text, color, LED parameters, effect parameters, etc.), stored in the device's local database via Apple SwiftData;
Custom colors you have selected (recent palette, stored in UserDefaults);
Local cache of Pro unlock status (for immediate identification of permissions during offline startup, stored in UserDefaults).

2. Regarding Purchases (In-App Purchase)

Pro unlocking is completed through Apple StoreKit 2, and the entire payment process is managed by Apple: Your Apple ID, payment method, transaction credentials, and other information are processed by Apple; we do not handle or see your payment information.

The App only retrieves a boolean result of "whether you own the in-app purchase" from StoreKit on the Apple device to unlock Pro features. For details, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. Permission Usage

The App currently does not request any of the following permissions:

Contacts / Calendar / Reminders / Photos / Microphone / Camera / Location;
Ad Tracking (App Tracking Transparency);
Push Notifications / Background Refresh / Local Network.

If future versions require permissions for new features, we will explicitly request them through standard system dialogs upon first use and synchronize the description on this page.

4. No Third-Party SDKs

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analysis, crash reporting, advertising, or user behavior tracking—including but not limited to: Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Umeng, Sensors Data, Bytedance Pangle, etc. We cannot collect your usage behavior data because we have no receiving end at all.

5. Local Data Management

You have full control over your local data:

Delete a single preset: Swipe left to delete in the Favorites list;
Clear all data: Uninstall the App directly; iOS will delete all local data in the sandbox as well;
Restore Pro unlock: Click "Restore Purchases" on the paywall after reinstalling.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Therefore, there are no situations that violate the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws.

7. Policy Changes

If we adjust the product architecture in the future, involving any changes in data processing methods, we will update this policy before releasing a new version and announce it on this page. You can determine if any changes have occurred by the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not hold any of your personal data, you do not need to exercise rights such as "data access / correction / deletion" with us— this data has never left your device. If you still wish to communicate with us on privacy-related topics, please contact us via email: led@reddash.app.
